This is, of course, not every single place you can take your dog on Lake Michigan. Our favorite place to take our dog was a tiny, non-publicized parking(?) area north of Two Rivers at the end of a town Road. It was our dog’s favorite place to go and he recognized where he was headed when we were still several miles away and would get so excited. We loved spending time on Lake Michigan with him.

I have not been to most of these parks, personally. The information given, is gleaned from Google Maps and the park’ web sites, if any. Please clean up after your pooch and take garbage with you. Please note that Lake Michigan does have Rip Tides. I would advise against throwing balls, sticks, frisbees, etc, into the water for your dog to swim out to if you are not familiar with Rip Tides.
